2007 Fundraising:
Azeem M. of the Jefferson
School completed his social
studies fair project on the
history of Boyds. Azeem and
his class held a bake sale and
raised $250.00 for the Boyds
Negro School renovation fund!

The Boyds Negro Schoolhouse
was closed for over a year while
undergoing renovations
necessitated by water and
termite damage to the floor and
joists. We have been working
with donors and community
partners to repair the school
and reopen it . (removal of
flooring pictured at right)
